I agree with you, the church in Britain is loosing its voice and is in decline. I think there are many things causing this. Some of the most obvious are the distractions of the modern world - science, technology, lifestyle etc – coupled with a perception that the church is loosing touch with the world around it within many denominations, and people's perception of the church and Christianity changing as the influencers / influences around them shout louder. There are many, many other reasons – the media has a lot to answer for too.
