Hello, I'm new and hoping to get to know Christians over in the United Kingdom.
My first name is Craig, and I'm writing from the United States. I made my personal decision to accept Jesus as my lord and saviour at the age of four and have stuck to it ever since, lol. I'm middle-aged, though it certainly doesn't feel like it. ;)
I'm a cartoon artist and writer; I normally animate cartoons, but unfortunately that sort of work was all outsourced here decades ago, so now I work odd jobs while creating online cartoons to spread a positive message as my ministry. I've actually been sharing online cartoons since 1984. I thought about enclosing a sample here, but I think I should check the guidelines first to make sure that's considered on topic.
I'm writing here because I've always wanted to make Christian friends in the UK but have yet to have the opportunity. I've known some from the UK who had moved here, but never anyone actually still living there. I was going to take my very first trip to the UK in late 2020, but unfortunately the whole covid shutdown forced my plans to be canceled. :( I went search for apps for my phone which might help, but all the ones I saw appeared to be only locally based. So I finally decided to try searching for an online UK-based Christian forum. And here I am. :)
But anyway, I do hope to visit and learn on here, and I do hope it's alright to join even though I'm in the United States (blush). Thank you for having me. :)

Hey Craig - welcome to the forums! These forums are still relatively new. Any forums that are started from scratch these days take quite a while to get going I think. It needs a significant number of people to join up and begin posting regularly before it can really gain traction. There still seems to be a place for discussion forums (as opposed to chat rooms etc), even though there are many other ways to communicate these days!
