Hi, I have a friend (who is non Christian (, we are quite close as friends. He is rather entitled as he's very used to people giving him his own way, we're both very into fitness. I am moving house and in the future will be building a home gym. He has asked that if gyms required people to be double covid jabbed (we are both unjabbed) would he be allowed to train with me. I've said that he is welcome to join me for any/all of the workouts I do if h is free at the same time as me to train (free of charge...the gym set up will be costing me around £15k). He has asked for a key to my home and gym to be able to train whenever he likes. Thus feels somewhat "too much" and a bit disrespectful. Am I being unreasonable in my offer as a Christian, I believe this still shows kindness to my friend but he thinks I am being unfair
Yours in Christ
It sounds like he is taking advantage of your good nature. Friends do things together, and my advice would be not to give anyone your keys.:)
